BP1_Welcome to my blog post!

Hello to all who visit this blog. This video I have shared is Asilomar beach. It was just shot over the weekend. My family and I go there at least 2 to 3 times a week. My dog Chuck loves to run on this beach along with my daughter Marisa. This is a great place to go and lose all your frustrations. Sometimes the waves get as high a 15' to 20'. Surfers are usually down there most of the time catching waves.

My passion is making videos and movies. I like just about every part of the process. I hope to be able to use the skills and knowledge that I learn in the EMDT program to enhance and contribute to the professional development and training videos that we produce. Along with making professional development and training videos I want to produce a narrative film. I'm not sure what genre yet because I like so many, the point is to make a film and hopefully have some success with it.

Another passion of mine is helping my 7 year old daughter along her journey of learning the drums, she is a young rocker. It is such a great feeling to watch the music click in her soul. Just this week we were listening to Led Zeppelin and she turns to me and says, "daddy this drummer is great". I do not remember appreciating a musician like John Bonham at 7 years old.

I hope that this blog journey will be educational. I'm also helping out my wife setting up her blogs, twitter, facebook, youtube and any other social networking tool we may learn about. It will all be interesting to see where this all goes. I do have somewhat of a very strong vision as to the direction of things. Somehow we are heading in the right direction it's just not exactly there yet. It is always a fight to stay patience, I'm one who wants it right now. Not tomorrow or the next day but now, and yes most of the time I do enjoy the journey even though I have expectations of where I should be.

I live my life with simple terms. I will work very hard to get what I want or I will die trying.

  1. David, Your blog is great. I can really relate to you and your 7 year old listening to Zepplin. It's like that around our house, but with the electric guitar and bass. Everyone in the family has one and my husband LOVES to crank it up and jam with the girls. We need to get your daughter together with ours and they would have a band!
